SIXTH FORM RESULTS DAY 2026 | CELEBRATING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT 

Today is a day to celebrate our students.

Results Day is always a big moment, but for me, it is about so much more than the grades themselves. It is about the journey each student has taken to get to this point; the hard work, the commitment, the challenges, the successes and, importantly, the resilience they have shown along the way.

I am incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and what they have achieved.

This year, we are particularly pleased to see an improvement in A-level outcomes across our academic subjects, with strong results in A-level Psychology and A-level English. Our average A-level grade is C, reflecting the sustained effort of our students and the commitment of our teaching and support teams.

Our vocational students have continued to achieve strong and secure outcomes, with an average vocational grade of Distinction across our BTEC, Cambridge Technical and NCFE qualifications. This is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the strength and breadth of our Level 3 vocational provision.

We are also particularly proud of the achievements of students receiving SEND Support or EHCP provision, who achieved an average A-level grade of B. Our Disadvantaged students, alongside our wider SEND community, also achieved an average vocational grade of Distinction.

These outcomes are something to be proud of. They demonstrate what can be achieved when students are supported, challenged and encouraged to believe in what they are capable of.

A particular congratulations to Harvey Chester, who achieved D*DD in Sport, B in Psychology and C in English. We also celebrate Layla Baker, who achieved B in Psychology and DDM in BTEC Performing Arts, and Hanna Munn, who achieved B in English and DDM in BTEC Performing Arts. Fantastic results across both academic and vocational study.

We are also incredibly proud to recognise Lois Abercrombie, Lola Cady, Tom Carr, Hannah Crabb, Alfie Fitzpatrick, Lexi Newland, Gracie Ross, Tabitha Spencer-Williams, Thomas Sutton, Sasha Teggin, Amy Williamson, Sophie Marshallsay, Summer Woodifield and Harvey Chester, who achieved results ranging from DDD to DDD*.

It is also worth highlighting the demands of our Level 3 BTEC programmes. These courses are far more than coursework or practical performance. Students undertake substantial academic theory, research, analysis and extended written work, alongside preparing for and completing four externally assessed examinations.

That takes commitment. It takes resilience. And it takes students being prepared to keep going when the work gets difficult. These results are therefore a real reflection of the effort and determination our students have shown throughout their time with us.

We are also delighted to celebrate the achievements of students studying through our valued educational partners Rockley, BAMM, Dorset School of Acting and MEPA College.

It is fantastic to see their hard work rewarded, and we are incredibly proud to celebrate their success as part of the wider LEAF Studio community.

I also want to say a huge thank you to our staff.

Results like these don't happen by accident. They are the result of teachers, specialism staff, pastoral teams and support staff working incredibly hard to give our students the best possible opportunities to succeed. I am hugely grateful for everything they do.

Thank you too to our families, carers and educational partners for the support they have given our students throughout their journey.

And finally, to our students; well done.

Be proud of what you have achieved. Take some time today to celebrate, whatever your results may be. Your grades are important, but they do not define you or everything you have achieved during your time at LEAF.
