Leaders have ensured that the curriculum is designed to meet the needs of pupils. The balance of specialist and academic teaching is appropriate. It gives pupils a rounded education while providing time for them to focus on their passion for the performing arts or sport.

LEAF Studio’s sporting and performing arts focus gives us a unique, industry focused specialism that provides students with an excellent foundation in their chosen career path. However, alongside this we provide an outstanding academic programme which ensures that all students leave here making excellent academic progress. Whatever their destination on leaving us, it is essential that all students have excellent academic qualifications to open doors into possible future careers.

As our mantra states, we believe that our students ‘Perform to their Potential’ – and that with hard work and dedication great outcomes are possible for all our students. We believe in a ‘growth mindset’ for all students and staff, and this drives forward our expectation that all our students will reach their full potential.

We provide a rigorous academic curriculum that compliments the specialist programmes all students follow in order to ensure that they make outstanding progress. In addition, a comprehensive package of personal development ensures that student well-being is always at the heart of what we do, so that our young people leave here as confident and collaborative members of their community.
