As a teacher at LeAF Studio, you are an integral part of the students’ journey and in supporting their career choices.
It is important that as a member of staff, you feel you are equipped with the best knowledge and tools to support our students with their career ambitions.
All staff contribute to CEIAG through their roles as tutors and subject teachers. The tutor team delivers specialist sessions. Tutors liaise with Leadership to address needs of all students, including support from teachers and external agencies, including the local IAG provider.

To ensure LeAF Studio students have access to the most up to date careers advice and guidance our Careers Lead and Heads of Specialisms must strive to provide you with:
- Access to up to date information on Post 16 & Post 18 options
- Subject specific advise and resources
- Referral system for staff to refer students for 1:1 career guidance
- Opportunities to attend specialism careers events such as Move It Dance Convention and our newly organised Sport Specialism careers fayre
- Subject careers knowledge within your classroom
Heads of Specialism – for specific specialism support, advice and guidance please speak with Mr Evans (Sport Specialism) and Miss Aplin/Mr Lake (Performing Arts Specialism)
For general careers advice please speak with Mrs Percival or your academic teaching staff.
