Additional Dance Training

In addition to our GCSE and BTEC curriculum, students at LeAF Studio participate in weekly technical classes in Dance, each varying in style and technique.

Students in all year groups have at least one ballet class a week. Students also take classes in tap, jazz and contemporary. Each year we adapt our timetables and endeavour to enrich our students’ experiences and training by broadening the curriculum.

Alongside our vocational and academic studies students also have the option of taking dance exams in ballet, tap and contemporary.

As part of their Performing Arts studies, students will have the opportunity to perform in several productions each year, both at LeAF Studio and at professional venues locally and further afield.
